The EVS-2500 is a patented dual-sensor infrared (IR) system that dramatically increases the pilot’s ability to see critical surroundings in low-visibility conditions, including rain, snow, haze, smoke, and darkness. This highly advanced EVS system combines the benefits of long-wave infrared to see terrain and other potential obstacles with that of short-wave infrared, which detects high-intensity runway lighting. two separate sensors and fuses the data in a separate
processor to create a real-world image that can be viewed on any
