SCANDINAVIAN DEALER OFFERS MAX-VIZ EVS

Portland, Oregon (October 6, 2003) – Scandinavian Aerospace and Industry AB has joined the growing list of Max-Viz dealers to provide Scandinavian commercial and government aircraft operators with the safety benefits of Enhanced Vision Systems (EVS).

Max-Viz EVS gives the pilot increased situational awareness and the ability to react when normal, unaided vision is impaired due to darkness or environmental obscuration. Utilization of the system directly addresses the three major safety concerns today: Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT), Approach and Landing Accidents and Runway Incursions. In addition, the system aids in tax/takeoff operations, helps reduce turbulence related mishaps and generally improves operational safety and efficiency.
