Board of Directors

John Harker

Mr. Harker was formerly Chairman, President and CEO of InFocus Corporation, a worldwide leader in digital projection technology and solutions. He has served on a number of Boards and Councils including the American Electronics Association, The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Portland State University Business Advisory Council and is a member of the Executive Advisory Committee of Alexander Hutton Venture Partners, a significant investor in Max-Viz. Prior to his business career John served for several years in the US Navy as a carrier based jet fighter pilot. He has been a member of the Max-Viz Board of Directors since January 2003.

Gerry Langeler

Mr. Langeler is a Managing Director of OVP Venture Partners, a venture capital firm with offices in Portland and Seattle and a significant investor in Max‑Viz. He has served on the boards of a number of companies, both private and publicly traded. He was a co-founder of Mentor Graphics (NASDAQ: MENT), where he served as President. Gerry served in the USAF Reserve and holds his Private Pilot’s license with a water rating. Mr. Langeler has been on the Max‑Viz Board since November 2002 and presently serves as its Chairman.

Frank Mastin

Mr. Mastin is a principal of Tree Frog Associates, a Tucson, Arizona, based aviation marketing and sales consulting firm. An Aeronautical Engineer with a Harvard Business School MBA, Mr. Mastin worked at Learjet Inc. from 1968-1997 where he held various sales and marketing positions, including Vice President of Marketing, as well as Vice President of North American Sales. He has been on the Board of Max-Viz since February 2004.

Phil Reed

Mr. Reed is General Partner of Highway 12 Ventures with offices in Boise, ID. Phil was co-founder of IMSAI/ComputerLand (NASDAQ: CLND) in 1975 and BusinessLand (NYSE: BLI) in 1982. Since joining Highway 12 he has served as Chairman of multiple of the firm’s portfolio companies including @Last Software which was acquired by Google. Mr. Reed has his Pilot’s license and has built and flies his own aircraft.

Elliott Troutman

Mr. Troutman began working with the Company in November 2002, was named Chief Financial Officer in March 2003, and became Chief Executive Officer in April 2008. With over 30 years of experience in finance, general management, operations and information systems, Mr. Troutman has worked for a variety of start-up, fast growth and hi-tech companies including Abbott Laboratories, GD Searle, Baxter Laboratories, Motorola and Siemens. Mr. Troutman holds a Private Pilot license.
