The Max-Viz Taxi-Max� system uses special, wide field-of-view sensors to provide information about the airport environment in darkness, haze and wet weather. Benefits include: taxiways are easier to see other aircraft are visible as they intrude on taxiways or assigned runways ground vehicles and equipment can be avoided ground navigation is possible on unfamiliar taxiways and ramps Typically Taxi-Max systems are tail-mounted and integrated with Head Down Displays and other sensor mounting positions.
